The Public Health Institute and Network for a Healthy California–Children’s PowerPlay! Campaign

The Children’s PowerPlay! Campaign is a multilingual program designed to help low-income 9- to 11-year old children and their families eat more fruits and vegetables and get more exercise every day.


Our team developed “Power Your Plate” and “Go for H2o,” two research-based promotions for the campaign’s Regional Coordinators and teachers to implement throughout California. Designed to be educator-friendly and appealing to children, each promotion included engaging visuals and activities focused on getting kids to drink more water and make half their plate fruits and vegetables. The promotions continue to be featured resources availale to educators statewide.
